What to do about stroke

Stroke is a medical emergency that occurs when blood flow to the brain is disrupted, either by a blocked or ruptured blood vessel. This disruption can cause brain cells to die, leading to serious disabilities, such as paralysis, difficulty speaking, and loss of cognitive function. Stroke is a leading cause of disability and death worldwide, and the burden of stroke is expected to increase as the population ages.

Developing new treatments for stroke is essential to improve the outcomes of stroke patients and reduce the burden of stroke on individuals and society. Currently, the main treatments for stroke are clot-busting drugs and mechanical ‘clot retrieval’ thrombectomy, which can only be used within a few hours of stroke onset and are not suitable for all types of strokes. There is a great need for new and more effective treatments that can be used in a wider range of stroke patients.

NeuroSpring is research organization that develops cutting-edge therapeutics for stroke and other neurological disorders. Our technologies have shown promising results in preclinical studies, and we’re advancing into clinical trials. If successful, NeuroSpring’s work could provide a new and effective means for helping stroke patients and improve their long-term outcomes. By developing innovative technologies for stroke, NeuroSpring is playing a critical role in advancing stroke care and improving the lives of stroke patients.
